The Importance Of Having A Mentor – Part 1
MENTORSHIP – Series
I am going to be doing a series on the importance of having a mentor – and it’s relationship to your own success. I will be doing many points, and I’m really not sure how many I will end up doing, but keep plugged in and enjoy!
Part 1 – A Mentor Helps To Keep You Accountable To Your Why!
I would say that the biggest and single most important reason to have a mentor is because they are able to help keep you accountable. When you get to a fork in the road and life gets hard, and you want to turn back and continue down the easy road, a mentor will help to steer you back on course. The best part of that is that they will do it with your own words!
Helping Keep You On Track
Having a mentor means they are aware of and they support you in driving towards your goals… they know your motivation and they know your why. This helps a lot since they can conveniently remind you of your why when you conveniently forget. Haha
Ultimately, It’s About Getting The Results You Want
When you stay focused on your reasons (why) you will keep working at hitting your goals, and you will not waver or stop… not for anyone, or anything.
